Like Faas&#8217; previous &#8220;historical novels&#8221; (<em>Woyzeck&#8217;s Head<\/em> and <em>Mengele&#8217;s Friend<\/em>?), it is painstakingly researched, particularly in its use of medieval historical and other documents.<\/li><li><strong><em>Terrorists<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0is another historical novel\u00a0featuring Marx, Engels, Mikhail Bakunin, and other nineteenth-century revolutionaries, focusing on the 1870 Franco-Prussian War and the Paris Commune.<\/li><li><strong><em><em><strong>Col\u00f3n \u00b7 Aguilar \u00b7 Cort\u00e9s<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/strong> takes the form of a fictional autobiography by Cort\u00e9s&#8217; Maya language interpreter Ger\u00f3nimo de Aguilar, here also featured as a companion to Columbus&#8217; fourth voyage.
